About Us

Our Story

We are sisters who found ourselves navigating our father’s dementia journey alongside our mom. Everything we share is shaped by research, conversations with professionals, and our own firsthand experience as family caregivers.

When we first heard the words “vascular dementia,” we entered a world we knew almost nothing about. Suddenly, we were trying to understand diagnoses, care options, costs, legal documents, safety concerns, and the emotional weight of making decisions for someone we love.

Like so many families, we spent countless hours searching for answers. We read articles, joined forums, toured memory care communities, compared costs, asked difficult questions, and learned through trial and error.

Along the way, we realized something important: there was plenty of information, but very little guidance.

That's why we created The Best Nest.

We know what you’re going through.

We’ve been there too.
